Empower Field at the Denverse
It’s time to help you catch up on another week in the Denverse. We might not really know the Broncos new backup quarterback, but we can find out. Listening to this podcast is less painful than digging tunnels under Dove Valley.
Highlights include: CU's win in the Rocky Mountain Showdown, a position player pitching for the Rockies, Bol Bol joining the Nuggets and the Altitude TV problem.
I went to the last Rocky Mountain showdown, which was a success for the Colorado Buffaloes (1:00) Next up, CU will try to upset Nebraska. The Colorado Rockies are still on the hunt for their four wins in September to avoid 100 losses. Ian Desmond pitched a scoreless inning and then hit a home run against the Dodgers (8:00) A quick update on the FIBA World Cup, featuring Nikola Jokic (10:00). Bol Bol has signed a two-way contract with the Nuggets (13:30).
Avalanche rookie camp starts this weekend (16:15). Hockey season is almost here! The Broncos finalized their roster. Who is the Broncos backup quarterback? (17:30). Also, Empower Field at Mile High Stadium, it’s new Denver (21:00).
Altitude TV is off the air…forever? (24:15). I forgot to mention that Fox Sports is also a player in regional sports networks. Finally, we’re sad to see Adam Mares and Brendan Vogt leave Denver Stiffs. We can’t wait to see what’s next for the pair.
