We recorded this episode a couple of days after Kobe Bryant's passing. I'm editing this now a couple of weeks later, having listened to it again for the first time. I have a lot of apprehension about releasing this episode because it is such a hard topic to cover. There are so many different angles and people have such strong emotions, both positively and negatively, about Kobe Bryant. That's also why I thought it was important to release this episode. When we decided to do the Denverse podcast, I thought it wanted to start having conversations in different ways. I feel like this episode brings up a lot of complicated angles to Kobe Bryant's legacy. Our attempt may be imperfect.
